The Global Hygiene Symposium aims to be a catalyst for igniting cross-disciplinary discussions on the importance of hygiene and strengthening the pathways for research to influence public policy. Participants will explore ways that discrete tracks of hygiene can be integrated into comprehensive hygiene framework to shift public policy and integrate broader development efforts.
In order to achieve this it is important that the Symposium has representation from researchers, practitioners and policymakers. By coming together at the Symposium it is hoped that common approaches will be identified and ways in which to address complex hygiene issues more effectively.
